Day 60: Today a colleague was lamenting the time others had to pursue creative projects.

“I don’t know where they find the time. I’m too busy. I have too much work.

After 60 days of making time for some creative process, building in a daily habit, I can’t see how I can operate at my best without it. Making myself do something creative everyday: painting (watercolor or acrylics), knitting, Zentangle and Pysanky – even adult coloring books – then posting my work and blogging about it, every day, has made me more focused, able to see possibilities quicker, calmer and more appreciative of the input and creativity of others.

I can always find time for that level of payoff.
