Days 84 & 85: I am a total sap regarding holidays. All holidays. There are certain things that must happen before each holiday. Easter is no exception.
Maundy Thursday service is poignant. The reading perfect. The songs moving. The quiet and ever diminishing candlelight encapsulating.
Day 84: First Christian Church, Neosho – Maundy Thursday
Day 85: Eggs, eggs, eggs.
Dyeing Easter eggs is a most pleasurable experience. The little dye tablets fizzing in the vinegar. The wax crayons smudging again the shell of the hardboiled shell. Rather than dyeing eggs this morning, I cracked my dozen large chicken eggs and scrambled them for breakfast. So I had to Zentangle an egg instead.
