Days 102 & 103: To my way of thinking a creative habit should be fun. I’ve mixed up my focus and medium, rotating what I’ve worked on, only incorporating painting in the last two months. Trust “simple”

Day 69: I always have big plans and ideas in my head. I know what I want to create before I put a pen to paper, paint to canvas, fingers to keyboard. Often the joy in creating comes about in the unexpected. I’ve been surprised in the actions of characters in a short story. The “mistake” of a pen stroke becomes a new Zentangle pattern. Painting is outside my comfort zone. I’ve attempted various classes, in high school, community education, one-day workshops.
