…my artistic point of view

1. I have learned to not even look at any of my three easels before work – there is no such thing as “just a little” painting time
2. Loading the paintbrush with more paint than I think I might need in a given stroke is always a good idea
3. Orange and turqouise are gorgeous colors and will always be found somewhere, somehow in my paintings
4. Abstract art is fascinating 
5. Often my “messy palette” is the “most beautiful” thing I create
6. I really enjoy painting abstracts with my wonky left hand
7. I am blessed to part of a couple of wonderfully supportive, online groups of female painters
8. My local artists’ groups are some of my favorite people
9. Many of my “best” pieces of clothes have evidence of my favorite paint (that’s why I consider them my best clothes)
10. For me, at this stage in my life, creating artwork is a million times easier than writing about artwork
