Day 26: Days at work that unexpectedly last over 12 hours simply feel gnarly.
At some point I get a little slap-happy. I long for the quiet of the
condo, a glass of wine, and shoeless feet.
Not surprisingly I needed to shake up my creative routine tonight. (It should have been Pysanky night.) A very messy, gnarly Zentangle helped relieve the day’s stress as did the nice glass of Merlot.
I’m not sure if unexpected work problems, even the ones that are only time-consuming and annoying, teach us any intrinsic lessons. They do though serve as camaraderie builders and storytelling foundations, full of circles back and looping lines much like my drawing.
