Day 55: If you know me well you know I have a strong proclivity for odd numerals – especially the number 3.

Look around my home and you’ll see items grouped in threes. I seek out numbers that are repeated three times.

I’m really not comfortable until I’ve proofed a piece of writing three times.

So no big surprise that I’m on my third attempt at finding a pattern that works for the incredible Berroco yarn of which I have one hank remaining. What I image the finished piece to resemble is strikingly clear in my head, it’s simply taking a couple of false starts to get there.

This process is not unlike my normal work day. Start. Stop. Start over. Creative habits are good reminders that it’s okay to claim a do-over. When you reach the end in style, the number of starts are going to be a distant memory.
