Well…I tried to reach my steps goal today. I didn’t make it but was decidedly closer than yesterday. What I realized while on my walk throughout the neighborhood was that I don’t look up enough. Today the sky was gorgeous – not a cloud in the sky. My husband tells me I’m developing a slouch from working at my computer. And like so many, I’m guilty of constantly checking my phone for updates. The Your Turn Challenge Blog came about at a great time. I’ve stopped and started my personal blog a dozen times over the last two years. It’s not uncommon when I wake up for my brain to be playing a selection from my mental playlist. This morning it was the 1975 Little River Band song It’s A Long Way There. “It’s a long way to where I’m going…” is one of the lines that I kept hearing over and over. That pretty much sums up my weekly commute, personal ambitions and to-do list for the day. Seriously thankful the tune has incredible harmonies.
