Where or where is my blogging routine?

Days 108-121: My Year of Creative Habits – creatively is going great. My blogging habit…not so much. I’ve shaken up my working routine the last two weeks. I traveled to D.C. for a quick visit, expanded my work assignments and visited with longtime friends. Here’s what two weeks looks like (two big views) and three combo views:

Creative catch up

Days 104-107: My days pass by quickly. Motoring back and forth from Neosho to Washington, Missouri. Presentation here. Percussion concerts there (Please note: Ethos is incredibly cool. One of the best small venue concerts I’ve attended this year.) As I’m inching toward the 1/3 of a year mark, I’m feeling as if I’m getting the creative habit worked well within my day. My efforts aren’t always something I would share outside my creative Year of Creative Habits group or this blog…heck they’re often not even refrigerator worthy. But they’re improving and I’m having a ball and learning new ways of…

Must happen…

Year of Creative Habits – Days 86 & 87: It’s still Easter weekend and two “must happen” occurences in my holiday traditions are #1 – it must rain, at least a little, either the Saturday before or on Easter itself. (I can’t remember an Easter when it hasn’t.) We had a little pop-up shower Saturday morning and today, Easter, we woke up to the most delicious sounding soft rainfall. #2 in the “must have” category – we must have the simple wooden beam cross, covered in chicken wire, on the platform of the church sanctuary. After the candles at the…

10

It’s been 10 days since I last blogged about my ongoing “year of creative habits” practice. The creativity has been ongoing but the writing has stagnated. I’m looking at changing up my writing time and somehow fitting it into my morning routine as opposed to late in the evening – henceforth today’s early morning post. Spring showers – I woke up at 4am to a perfect spring thunderstorm with just the right amount of lightning and rain. My cloud study from this past Monday:                 Other creative habits, days 75-83, include:    …
